Quickly after the 2014 board took office in February, Dr. Raf. Belliard, Secretary informed the board about the upcoming danger of Chikungunya. It was decided to approach the department of health in Puerto Plata about fumigating in Costambar.

They did come, they missed some streets, so the second time they came we had a security guard ride along.

The Department of Health in Puerto Plata is doing the fumigation and APC helps with the cost of the gasoline and other small necessities.
