The former board made a good job in many ways, among others – selling the old garbage truck and stake bed truck to make it possible to buy a DR brush cutter.
The lush vegetation – especially on empty lots was providing hiding places for thieves, and also affected personal security by harboring breeding grounds for dangerous mosquitoes, rats, mice etc. and this machine can cut very high grass and even small trees.
We have sometimes 3 or at least 2 persons woking full-time to clean road sides and empty lots, and another important job for maintenance is to throw chemicals in abandoned pools in order to limit the number of mosquito breeding grounds.
If you own a vacant lot and/or know of an abandoned pool, please call Bethania for membership and/or location of abandoned pool. Office: (809) 970-7877
